Sporting Lisbon defender, Oguchi Onyewu, claims that the team have developed their on-field chemistry after getting enough playing time together. The Lions have been recording victories on the run in their last few games and the American International claims

While many labelled the side as a developing one early on, those opinions have been changed with their recent results, something which Oguchi Onyewu attributes to the team developing proper coordination on the pitch.
Speaking to reporters, the former Milan said that the players had gotten used to each other’s playing style, which took some time to develop but nonetheless they have achieved it after playing together.
“We players now we feel good with each other. Of course in the beginning of the season it was different. We were all new and I had never been part of a team, who had so many new players arriving so quickly,” he said.
The centre-back also said that the team needed sufficient time to get accustomed to each other and since they have now done that, they are playing as a better unit.
“Of course we need time to get to know and learn about each other, both on and off the field. But now we are playing good football as a whole team,” Oguchi Onyewu was quoted as saying.
Oguchi Onyewu and his teammates will now have the chance to further develop their blossoming partnership when Sporting Lisbon take on Feirense on the 30th of October.
