Sporting Lisbon sign Xandao from Sao Paulo FC
Portuguese giants, Sporting Lisbon have acquired the services of Brazilian centre-back, Xandao, from Sao Paulo FC in an 18-month loan deal.
The Sportinguistas have been on the search for a top quality addition to their back-line, which has often been depleted this term due to injuries. has been mostly sidelined due to injury this season.

Although not capped by the Selecao, the defender has plyed his trade for numerous teams in his homeland and has gathered significant experience despite only being 23-years-old.
While the financial details have not been revealed by either of the clubs, it is reported that the centre-back will sign a deal to play for the Lisbon giants on loan for nearly two years, after which they will have the opportunity to acquire his talents
on a permanent basis.
His agent also commented on the transfer and said that his client will surely become a Sportinguistas player albeit on loan.

He also added that he spoke to the former Desportivo Brasil man and he will become available for selection as soon as he completes a medical at Sporting.
