Sporting Lisbon forward Valeri Bojinov has claimed that he is happy to be making his return for Bulgaria and reiterated that there has been no conflict with the national team goalkeeper, Niki Mihaylov.
Valeri Bojinov has confirmed that he will be taking part in Bulgaria’s Euro 2012 qualification matches after negotiating with the coach.
Bojinov, 25, talked to Mihail Madanski and after impressing the trainer, has agreed to return to the national team fold once more.
The striker made the switch from Italian side, Parma, to Sporting this summer and boasts an impressive resume despite being relatively young.
Having plyed his trade for the likes of Manchester City and Juventus over the years, he has been well-versed in the game and is currently looking to cement his place in the competitive Lion’s starting line-up.
Although not first choice at Jose Alvalade, the attacker is likely to be fielded in Bulgaria’s upcoming fixture against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041, something which has delighted Bojinov and he is relishing the prospect of donning the Tricolours jersey.
Speaking to reporters, the front-man said that he was very pleased with the conversation he had with the boss and claimed that as he is now back, he will give everything to secure a place for his nation in next year’s European championship.
"I am delighted to be returning for the team. I have had opportunity to speak with the new coach Mihail Madanski, and he was quite impressed. I will give everything for our team,’ he said.
Bojinov also commented on the rumours being circulated regarding his alleged clash with goalkeeper, Niki Mihaylov, saying that none of it was true and he got along the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 keeper quite well.
"I have no problem with him. We are the future of this team and he is an excellent goalkeeper,” Valeri Bojinov.
