Its been injured for a very long time already, probably for months

  1. I have hurt my forearm before Lifting, mine hurt everytime i held a specific waight.

    Rest is always the best for muscles but you could also try some icy hot / bengay that always made me fell a little better and ice of corse works great.

  2. try the doctor or first try to get him to rest his arm and put one of them icy-hot patch things on it.
