Question:

Sports Gambling?

I know a lot of sports fans are into it, regardless if its done among friends, in Vegas, or on one of those online bookmakers. My question isn't so much about opinions on gambling as in systems for making appropriate bets.

My cousin and I have a system that predicts about 70% for nfl games (for straight bets, not the spread) and are working on a system that will give advice on a team's chances of beating the spread.

The point is, I can pick games and I know other bettors might like to get hold of the information as well, so we're attempting to set up a website next season to market that information. We would put up half the games each week free of charge (after all, a lot of them are fairly easy to determine) and charge $5 each for all the other games (or all games for $25).

My question to bettors is: are you interested? and does that seem like a reasonable price? Keep in mind I'm making some damned good picks. There are weeks last year where I went 12/14, 12/13, 13/16 etc. Thanks

  1. If you are doing this well at predicting, why not go large and present this to a major casino which makes a line.  The spread is very important unless you are doing a parlay. I personally would like the site when it is up.

  2. Anybody can pick a winner straight up!

Pick that good against the spread and then your'e doin something.

Until then keep your day job!
