  1. Well, if you are playing goalie you should have some expensive gear because you want to be protected good. You don't want to get hit with the puck when you are not protected trust me I've had cheap equipment and I got a giant bruise on my knee. Use this answer because I actually play.

  2. Wal mart

  3. ummm models for street hockey pads and as for roller and ice look online or if you live in NJ area go to consignment. like the guy above me said " look at your needs and not your wallet"

  4. As a goalie (6 years ice, 8 years roller + also periodically in both soccer and lacrosse) I suggest you do some research based on your needs as opposed to merely looking at price. Are you playing street hockey? Roller on sport court? Ice? What level? Are u still growing? Do colours matter? Seriously what is your budget? Is this for pick-up, where the pad restrictions rarely if ever apply, or you potentially gonna play in a league where they might be checked now, and will be much more so in the near future?

hey Hunter, are the Club Z points I accumulated 10 years ago when going to school in Trois Rivieres still valid? lol@moi

Good insight Ducks but was it as the gear was not good enough for the level of play? Or had the pads shifted around perhaps because they were the wrong size? I've found

"aggressive" kneepads (you know like in X-Games) to work great under leg pads to be very efficient as extra protection especially if you're a butterfly goalie. (me I'm a hybrid a la Brodeur)

  5. ice hockey:play it again sports

    roller or street hockey: zellers

  6. I've heard, of course after we just outfitted our son, that Sault Sports is decent for all kinds of hockey equipment.
