Sports physical for a 15 year old girl??

Question

i am shaking at the thought.

i am very shy about my body and i'm fifteen and in 10th grade. I'm getting one for cheerleading, but i am soooo scared.

i don't want to have to take off my clothes, and i don't want any doctor, boy or girl toching me downstairs.

if they ask me to take off my panties, can i just say, no i'm uncomfterbull with that????

i'm getting it on monday. so please answer and help. I don't want to do this!!!

and also, what else do they do at a physical???

You have to do it. And no, you can't say that because they have to check.  But they just look, just to make sure nothing's going on. I'm sure you've had one before, because you have to have them periodically or school. You'll have a sheet thing to cover you. It's somewhat embarrassing, but it's not as bad as you think. It'll be over soon enough.

Psssh! They don't do anything. If you took your physical (annual) before, they just it and give it to you. The exam is easy-Take the eye test (Hold cup over eye and read letters), fill out a form about any recent injuries, allergies, etc., check blood pressure, the usual. Nothing scary.

i don't think they look down there. and if they do, they'll probably just LOOK. they're checking more for joint health and stuff like that. don't worry about it. =)

If it is a regular phys they wont make you take of your clothes i;'m sure.

They wont ask you to take of your panties that is the job of a gynecologist. Don't worry darling okay!! You'll be fine trust me.

Also if they make you take of ur undies, which they prob wont, you can say no i'm sure. dont worry okay.

As long as they don't do a full body physical, you ill be alright. Normally for a physical i get my blood checked, pee in a cup and they check my vision. And you tell him or her any concerns you might have. Trust me, nothing to be afraid of.

Well they will do a full body physical. It is not as bad as you think it is. You can request a woman doctor to do your physical. But they have to check you up and down from head to toe just to make sure everything is okay. If you say no when they ask you to take off your panties and you say no they can't say you have had a full physical then. They check your breathing, They make sure you have nothing abnormal anywhere especially down below.

I just got a physical a couple weeks ago and all they did was an eye test, blood pressure, heart rate, and asked me some questions. You'll be fine

A sports physical? They don't do anything. They look at your physical papers from your doctor and see if there's anything they need to check like blood pressure, weight, heart rate, ect.

At the most, they'll ask you a bunch of questions about "down there." They might ask if you've had infections recently, if you're sexually active, if there's any problems, and how long you've had your period. You can say "no" for everything if you want to, your doctor can take care of that if needed. Just answer so they can hear to prevent embarrassment.
