Sporty roadsters for a budget?

I WAS gonna get a Boxster, till i found out insureance is 8000 a year. That's 40,000 for five years!!!! What are some similar 2 seater roadsters?

My list so far:

Toyota MR2

BMW Z4

S2000

Saturn SKY

What else?

I would def take a look at the sky the turbo sky is around 30000 so for a roadster is fairly inexpencive and its a fun ride and also right now saturn is having employee pricing plus money off the car till sept 2nd last I saw a sky that was going for almost 32000 with the sale dropped down to like 29000

Because the newest Miata comes with a retractable  hardtop, I would add that to your list.

The insurance will be much less, and for the difference in operating costs between most of the cars you list - the Miata is almost free.
