Spotting, Period or Implantation! ?

I started birth control in the beginning of august. my boyfriend and i had s*x on the 19th. i just started taking my sugar bc pills on the 24(sunday) and I started bleeding 2 days later. it varies from light brown then to a light pink. my period should not be here until the beginning of september so I'm not sure if its my period or something else. i read the bc pack and it said it could cause spotting. My concern is that I'm pregnant and its starting the implantation. My question, whats the difference between a period, spotting and implantation? Is it my period early, spotting or the implantation? How long does the spotting and implantation last? Anything will help!!!

Well it shouldnt be your period if it only lasts for a short time.  And periods are usually a brighter red so its probably not your period.  So that leaves you with spotting or implantation (implantation is usually a light brown color)... best thing to do?  Take a pregnancy test ;-)
