Spotting, how much is too much?TMI?

Question

I am 8.3 weeks with twins. I had a red heavy bleeding spell last week but the U/S showed 2 growing babies and healthy heartbeats. Last night, DH and I had intercourse. Today I have been bleeding brown blood ( I know brown blood is good). My question is it is only there when I wipe(TMI). But it is not what I would consider spotting. Since it is only there when I wipe is this still spotting? Spotting is more than just a spot. How much blood is too much? Thanks

it sounds like just a bit of old blood from your previous bleeding, that was disturbed by you having s*x...i would not worry unless it becomes heavy bleeding then i would go to the er however just let your ob know next time you have an appt...

If your really concerned see a doctor, because we are not doctors its hard to say how much is too much. You need to be examined. Spotting is perfectly normal too an extent ive heard but calm your worries by discussing this with a healthcare proffesional at the doctors or hospital and they may give you tests to help ease your worries. good luck! x*x

Please ask your OB-GYN, even if you already have talked to her about it. people on here are not doctors and spotting during pregnancy is serious. There should be a 24 hours contact number for you. If you dont have one seriously email me and Ill give you one. Im 35 weeks. Good luck!

Don't worry that much about all the brown blood but if it happenes so much like ur period go to the doctor ASAP i had the same problem and I had a miscarige
