Spotting 2 Days After an HCG?

Question

I had an HSG 2 days ago, on Thursday afternoon. It had great results, no blockage and it didnt hurt that much, not at all afterwards. I didn't have any spotting afterwards. Now it is 2 days later and this morning I woke up to some spotting, which I have been doing on and off all day. I know spotting after an HSG is normal but I thought that if I was gonna spot it would have happened sooner, not start until 2 days after the fact. Any thoughts? Also, I have been bad about taking the antibiotics because the pills they gave me don't go down so well! TIA!

well i had a laparscopy 2 days ago and they also sent dye into my tubes and i just started spotting today as well.  i think that is normal, atleast that is what i was told! congrats on clear tubes, mine are good as well!

Completely normal! I had an HSG and began to spot 2-3 days later and it lasted 2 days! Congrats on open tubes! Really try to take the antibiotics its so important to prevent infection! Good luck and baby dust!

Hi, this isn't an anwer but I wanted to say that it is a relief that u did not find the HSG painful, I will be getting that done within the next 10 days and I was told it was very painful and you get cramping afterwards. Thankyou for easing my mind a bit. :) Congrats on the clear tubes !
