Hey my cousin is turned 11 and since she doesn't have computer she asked me to post this:

I know I asked this question before but it happened again:

she said that she spotted 3 months ago a little blood and it never came back. And she just spotted again 4 days ago.

She develops "breast buds", her pubic hair is getting longer, and she's been having discharge since she was nine. But she weighs 65 pounds and some people say skinnier people get it way late. so she is kind of worried. She was also wondering if this "spotting thing" happened to any of you girls too. So she worrying if she has a problem or something?

  1. normal. shes getting her period soon.

  2. It may or may not be a problem. I called my kids pediatrician and they told me that any amount of bleeding even if it's spotting can be a period. She may just be a very light bleeder and if so that's great. It may get heavier till she gets a regular or normal amount of blood (is there such thing as normal amount)? If you are concerned you, her mom, or she can call a nurse at her pediatricians office to see if it's normal. The nurse who I talked to said yes my daughter was having a period no matter how little the bleeding was. She spotted two months in a row at the age of 9, then didn't spot until six months later and finally about a year and a half later she got what seemed like a normal period that lasted for about 5 days. I hope this helps.

I wanted to add that just because she doesn't weigh as much doesn't mean she will be later in getting her cycles.

  3. stop asking people on yahoo.com and go to a doctor or talk to a parent.
