Spouses who share chores are never surprised, only disappointed when the other half falls short.?

My husband never does his chores.  I hired a maid and he complains about the money.  And so it goes...

My man helps out every now and then and I am very grateful when he does. It makes one less thing on my list.

Yes that's true! But disappointment doesnt only come when the other falls short on chores. Disappointment comes in everything we do when we feel like we are giving more than we get. That is why it is much better to expect nothing, then everything is a bonus!
