Sppeding ticket in Vermont?

i got a speeding ticket in vermont but my license was from california,how this affect my license and insurance.this is my first ticket. Also i like to know if i changed my license from California to New york,is it come in the Ny license record

  1. It depends on how the state reports it. I live in Massachusetts but I got a New York speeding ticket, and it never got reported to my insurance.

        If the ticket gets reported to California, then yes, it may go on your record. However, if it doesn't, you're in the clear. I think it just depends.

         Since Vermont is so far, though, I think your chances are better that it won't get reported to California. If you move to New York, there is a higher likelihood that insurance will notice it, since they'll have to check and see if you ever got a ticket in CA.
