  1. If the doctor gave you antibiotic's than they recommend that you give the medicine three(3) days to take affect. They will not take affect right away, and if you have pain killers take at least two with in 2-4hrs, but only one time. Once the pain stops than you can take another. That way when it "wakes up", it won't feel as bad. Than take only as needed, or as the bottle says.

  2. First of all you should continue to put ice on it, also kept it held up like in a sling that will hold it up to your shoulder it will help the swelling go down, as for your meds you can only really keep taking pain killers like paracetamol or morphine.

    Hope this helps

  3. After an injury like that, it is usually  the worest between 2-4 days after the injury. If the swelling doesn't go down and the pain doesn't subside within a couple of days, you probably need to go back to the doc

  4. You need to keep your hand elevated, even at night, and don't try to use it, not even your finger tips.  Give it a chance to heal.

  5. ive done this a billion times

take 2 advil they taste like m&m's if ya dont chew em

  6. Listen to your doctor and try to think of something else. Like eat Ice-Cream or something to take your mind off the pain.

  7. Take your pain killer meds and keep ice on it. It should start to subside in a few days. Just follow the Drs orders. When I sprained my ankle, the Dr told me to keep moving my foot up and down to exercise it. If it doesn't get better within a couple weeks, go back to the ER.

  8. paracetamol
