I live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and I wanted to know if people who spray pesticide on their backyard do they have to put up a Pesticide sign. The reason I asked is because There is a bike trail I like to ride that goes into the bush behind a row of houses and I think one of them might have been spraying pesticide so I was wondering if they needed a warning sign up because it is a fairly busy trail, and the house that I thought might be spraying is only a few feet from the trail.

  1. In Ohio the answer is no. There are very few restrictions for applying pesticides for a homeowner. Even professionals don't have to put a little flag until they are done. It doesn't have to say what was used or any details like that.

  2. no....the trail isn't on their property... there's no reason why anyone on the trail would be on their property.... so there's no reason for them to need to post a sign.....
