SpreadBetting Addiction?

I think my bf is addicted to spread betting. but I am not sure. I am not even sure if you can get addicted? Anyway the following makes me think this and i would like some help finding out whether he is addicted and how to help him.

We never have s*x, and if we do he is thinking of betting. (he said today that because we had s*x yesterday he lost money)

he spends hours on end searching for stock and placing bets.

he has changed his phone contract to allow him unlimited access to the betting site.

He never wants to do things incase he loses money

He has lost a lot of money and is now putting in lots of hours to make it back
