Spring Break Help Needed!!?

I'm beginning to plan my senior trip for next years spring break. While most of my friends want to go to Cancun I'm just wondering about some other places. If anyone has any advice about places such as the Bahamas, Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, as well as Cancun it would be really helpful. I'm looking for an all-inclusive resort, a great pool (preferably a beach as well), fun nightlife and clubs, and some water sport activities would be a plus. Thanks!

  1. summer, warm,-

L.A: universal studios, the beach, in & out burger (umm).

    Flordia: beach, and more.

    winter, cold-

    Colorado- skiing/ snowboading, more

  2. Go to Acapulco instead. I heard it's the top spring break destination and it has tons of water sports, and this water park called Cici where you can swim with dolphins for an hour. And they have villas and houses and condos for rent plus hotels and resorts. And you can watch cliff divers!

  3. Bahamas will be more expensive. Room, food and booze.

I would stick with Mexico. Playa del Carmen is great. You have 5th Avenue for fun and clubs. You are just a 45 minute ferry ride away from Cozumel. I think it costs $11 dollars.

I like the PDC area, close to some of the fun things to do besides just clubs and drinking.

  4. Check out the Dominican Republic, Puerto Plata Hotel: Riu Merengue-it is the most incredible spot you will find, affordable 4 star...it has eveything you want and need, plus more..please check this out-it'll be worth your inquiry!

  5. Don't know if you're talking about college or high school.  That will make a difference, as some hotels/resorts have age limits, especially at Spring Break time.

Hotel Villas Las Anclas in Cozumel is inexpensive and gets great reviews at TripAdvisor.com.   It's not on the beach, but it's in town and I think the owners also own a nearby beach club.  I've never stayed there, but have been to Coz - it's very nice.  Be aware, however, that there will be cruise ships there almost every weekday, which will add to the congestion in town.  Coz will be a little harder to get to than Cancun, although there are some direct flights from some US cities, I believe.  You can access websites for info via TripAdvisor or the hotel's website.  Another source of info is CozumelInsider.com.

You can find out about your other possible destinations at TripAdvisor - lots of great info.

    Good luck.

  6. If you trying to do it my vote is Cancun.  They got everything you want there.  All inclusive, nightlife, water sports

  7. The place with the best weather, the most action, the most diverse community, the best food and most of all the best deals would be Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. For a spring break it would be tough to beat. In cabarete you are going to find way too many things you guys could do  : surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, scuba, horseback riding, excursions, people from all over the world and a party lifestyle 24/7.

if you want more info please check

    www.oceanicreviews.com

and go to the cabarete page, from there you'll be able to access tons of reviews about resorts in this area and the best deals from all the major websites. I hope you really enjoy your trip.
