Springdale Hawk expected to win Coral.CO.UK Stayers
Springdale Hawk is expected to claim top position in The Coral.CO.UK Stayers, a high-stakes Open Race that will be held at Romford racecourse on Friday night, June 1. The action will commence at 22:26 (GMT).
On the flat track of 575 metres, the M. Wallis-trained black dog will compete against Coolavanny Fairy, Dixies Air, Copeland Robbie, Razldazl Zamba and Maui Emperor. The prize purse contains £175.
Springdale Hawk has been at the peak of form since the dawn of 2012. He moved on to get a 4th position in each of the two subsequent races.
The three-year-old veteran hound marvellously won each of his last four races from April 26 to May 25. Overall, he has been a consistent performer throughout his career.
At the moment, the talented son of Westmead Hawk out of Exact Marie is awash with confidence and winning momentum that will help him add another epic victory to his career chart.
Springdale Hawk has performed well equally in all the formats. He is well-versed for various tracks. If the dashing dog manages to runs to his best, he will have up to 95 percent chances to finish first in the Stayers.
Among the other runners, each one of Dixies Air and Copeland Robbie will fight hard for success.
Copeland Robbie has also been in good form since the dawn of 2012. The J. A. White-trained blue dog has elegantly won a race in each of the five months of the calendar year so far. The experienced hound gained two consecutive runner-up ranks in the first
half of May.
On the other hand, Dixies Air bagged a couple of consecutive victories in January 2012. The trainee of M. Wallis won a big race on April 8. The two-year-old experienced hound nicely grabbed two classic triumphs in May.
Thus, these two hounds will defiantly give tough time to Springdale Hawk who needs to employ a meticulous strategy against his competitors.
