Springdale Hawk favourite for Text ?dogs? To 60006 Trophy
Springdale Hawk has got the best chances of winning the Text ?dogs? To 60006 Trophy at Romford in England on Friday, May 25, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be given a cash prize of £175.
The 575 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:18 GMT and a total of six quality hounds will be taking part in it. Their names are as follows: Aclamon Tracey, Springdale Hawk, Small Tink, Droopys Gizmo, California Girl and Alisons Rival.
Looking at the overall distance to cover, the stamina will play a crucial role in determining the winner. Due to this, Springdale Hawk has an edge over his rivals, as he enjoys running in the longer distance events.
The M. Wallis’ trained hound has been taking part in a few trial runs recently and his performances have been impressive. His last race in this class proved to be a good one, as he finished on top of the table in it.
Despite not being rated as the favourite to win, the black dog gave a stunning performance last time around. He started the race slowly and was crowded through the middle section. Just when things started to look grim for him, he increased his speed and
claimed the top spot by just a short head distance.
This clearly shows that Springdale Hawk has got an excellent stamina and he will not make things easy for his rivals. If he gets a clear run at Romford, he will not allow anyone come closer. The punters will definitely be attracted towards placing the maximum
number of bets on him today.
The seasoned runner is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Exact Marie and was born in July 2009.
On the other hand, Aclamon Tracey might also attract some bets in her favour, as she is a decent performer. Her performances in recent events have been good, but she will need a bit of luck in order to take the top spot.
In her most recent outing, the E. Gaskin’s trainee finished runner up by almost 15 lengths. She lacks the stamina to win the longer distance events, thus the odds seem to work in favour of Springdale Hawk today.
