  1. i was going to have a disney wedding and this site was my god sent !!!!!  depending on what her color themes are you could just accent things will the famous  mouse outline

  2. I can thing of several colors. Disney princesses almost all have a cobalt blue or robin's egg blue dress. Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Sleeping Blue, and Cinderella all did. So dark or light blue should be a main color. Also pinks and dark greens, think Ariel's fin for that color.

You could get a fountain of some sort, (including a chocolate fountain that some one will need to monitor)

If you could rent one a gazebo would be perfect for pictures, you could decorate it with realistic looking foliage and different color flowers. Like this

For cakes, you could use cupcakes, like the one they serve at Cinderella's tea party, they have blue and pink frosting, and make a cupcake tower with a layer on top for the anniversary slice.

    something like this one http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0S020wpc5xIch...

  3. So are we talking an elegant princess theme?

    Try these websites

    http://www.weddingclipart.com/guide/wedd...

that have some cool favors and such.  I would decorate with white, glass & silver accents to keep in elegant.

  4. Find a "Disney" picture that she loves, and base the color scheme around that one image.

You want to be careful to not make the wedding look like a child's birthday party, but you can definitiely do a disney wedding in an elegant way.

Since I decided to answer this question, I might as well throw a line out there for the woman who photographed my wedding...she is FANTASTIC and travels all over the world to do weddings, and she is very reasonably priced. She did my wedding and I was SO happy with the photographs...check her out at www.noeyehasseen.com

  6. Greens and pinks, perhaps. Try a botanical garden, if there is one nearby. They are usually cheap, and obviously come already decorated!

  7. Is she going for a Disney Princess theme?   Then you gotta go pink.   Or

Maybe pick her favorite princess, then follow that theme.

    Example:

She loves little mermaid.  Make everything like the sea castle!

Aladdin-  Make it an arabian theme

Most cakeries have princessy themed cakes...maybe in the birthday area, but if you discuss it with the baker, i'm sure they'll customize it!  :o)

  8. I would advise to pick a princess (cinderella, ariel, sleeping beauty, snow white. Belle or jasmine) and make that your theme.

Cinderella: casltes, puffy dresses. watch the movie to get ideas. Glass slippers and pumpkins in your decor.

Ariel: Beachy, underwater theme with a sleeker mermaid style gown

Jasmine: arabian nights theme.. Deep colors like purple, emerald green, turquoise, ruby red.

Snow White: have a winter theme with silvers and icey blues. Use apples in your decor somewhere

Here is a great designer that gets her inspiration from Disney's princeses http://www.disneybridal.com/index.html

  9. If she's going for a movie theme, tell her to choose one.  Preferably Cinderella.  Why?  What if she likes Snow White better [like me]?  Because the only Disney wedding stuff they have a variety of is Cinderella.  The other movies, you may have one or two choices of something, but that's it.  I'm talking about cake toppers, favors, cards, invites, garters, etc.

Since I couldn't get the Snow White wedding I was thinking of, I went with Mickey and Minnie, with a classy red, white, and black theme.

Oh, and Cinderella weddings are beautiful in pale blue, white, and silver, which are not "fad" colors (like eggplant and lime, lol), and will always look classy.
