Springwood Bob, worth considering in Crayford Bookmakers Stayers Stakes
Springwood Bob is aiming for his second consecutive win at Crayford. The black dog will be in action in the Crayford Bookmakers Stayers Stakes, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 07.
Nobody can afford to ignore his chances, as the hound is in good shape following his recent triumph. On March 24, the greyhound racing fans saw him displaying an impressive performance at the same venue.
After attaining a decent lead at sixth bend, the trainee of B. O'Sullivan made no mistake. Consequently, he managed to secure top slot by three quarters of a length.
His convincing win prompted the bookies to rate him favourite for today’s 714 metres flat heat. The dashing runner will show his class against Bubbly Blues, Mollys Dilemma, Bold Misty, Airforce Peejay and Amanda And Sal.
Bubbly Blues was also impressive last time around. Despite being bumped early on, the brindle b***h managed to secure first position by three and a quarter lengths.
Her success came after a long lean patch. Since she has come out of her slump, she is expected to do some damage tonight.
Amanda And Sal has been struggling with her form since her victory in mid February. In her most recent outing, the blue b***h was below par, finishing sixth by a massive margin of 24 and a quarter lengths.
Her confidence might have been dented by such a pathetic effort. Although she holds enough experience of Crayford track, she needs to make an early bid for glory.
Similarly, Bold Misty needs to show some enthusiasm in early stages of the race. The black b***h could only lock fourth position last time out.
We believe it will be a bit dangerous to stake money on her. On the contrary, Mollys Dilemma is worth chancing. Out of her last three races, she was triumphant twice.
Her fresh victory came on March 29, when she was ½-L ahead of the runner-up. On the other hand, it will be interesting to see how Airforce Peejay performs in a long distance races.
Springwood Bob is most likely to deliver a winning performance. However, Bubbly Blues and Mollys Dilemma might cause an upset. We wish best of luck to everyone.
