Question:

Sprinklers Spraying watter crooked in wrong direction?

I have a few sprinklers on my front lawn that are watering the sidewalk. I have tried to correct the problem by turning the part that pops up when the sprinklers are on. This corrects the problem, but then when I turn them off and then back on again, they come up shooting in the wrong direction again. Does anyone know what can be done to make so that every time they come up, they are pointing in the right direction?

  1. All sprinkler heads are adjustable.  Twisting the pop-up isn't the way to do it, though.

Start by looking for adjustment instructions on-line.  I've got Hunter (Toro) sprinklers.  They are adjusted by: twisting the entire body of the sprinkler to get the start point, and then using the travel adjustment s***w to set how far the sprinkler sweeps.

  2. dig around the head alittle so that you can grab it ,and turn the WHOLE head ,not just the part that pops up.
