I was told by a salesperson at Best Buy that Sprint has a class action lawsuit filed against them and they are not requiring california customers to pay the fee for terminating your contract early. He said I could call Sprint and have my account cosed and refuse the fees. Is this true? Has anybody done it? Will i just get a bill in the mail?

  1. I am not in California, but I have heard that there is a suit against Sprint regarding early termination fees. There was a ruling that the fees were probably against the rules. But, I am unsure of the status of that case. More information can be found in my sources.

  2. what i understand is that will not be true until at least NOVEMBER

  3. No this is not true. I'm sorry to say but best buy has been wrong more then once. If you cancel your account and refuse to pay the fees it will still be an open bill on your account and yes you will get wa bill.
