Sprint instinct and Cricket Network?

I was thinking about buying the new Instinct by Sprint and taking it over to cricket. Now would cricket be able to turn it on with their network? Because I heard that Cricket can reprogram phones to work with their network. So yeah buying a new phone want to take it to cricket (Not even get it activated just take it straight to cricket and activate it there). Would that work? If you get what I mean, I know it's sorta confusing.

Yes you can get the Instinct working on Cricket. Both have compatible networks. Just make sure that the Instinct is unlocked or you can unlock it yourself. Once the phone is unlocked it should work on Cricket.

Definitely ! i did the same thing..well with a phone that was already activated thu sprint but dont worry. It will work just fine. I have the instinct phone working with cricket. But keep in mind that the internet feature is not going to work nor the picture text message. Actually, half of the features will not work with cricket.
