  1. Never use leg weights.

    People use weighted vests for plyometrics and some drills.

    Don't use it for actual running.

    The downside would be if it doesn't fit correctly, and the discomfort from wearing it.


  2. No, you need lower body strength to run faster, the weighted vest will do nothing to build to improve you sprint training
