Sprinter Sacre has been offered evens by Coral for winning the Sportingbet Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in England on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
Coral spokesman Simon Clare said, “Given the size of this offer, we are entering uncharted territory in terms of the demand it will create, but it is our firm intention to hold this price for as long as possible, for days rather than hours, in order to allow
every customer who fancies even money about Sprinter Sacre time to get on.”
He added, “We are going into this with our eyes wide open, and expect to face a sizeable seven figure liability when the tapes go up on Wednesday, but there is only one Cheltenham Festival, and if you want to make a noise you have to come up with a really
big offer, and they don't come bigger than evens on Sprinter Sacre.”
