Sprinter Sacre in for Sportingbet Tingle Creek Chase after missing the Shloer Chase
The Nicky Henderson trained six-year-old bay/brown gelding, Sprinter Sacre, left the field of the Shloer Chase at the mercy of the favourite entry, Wishfull Thinking, who defeated Doeslessthanme, by amazing eighteen lengths. After missing that, the French
gelding is in no mood to let go off the Sportingbet Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown race course on 8th December.
The race will be a true test for enhancing his career profile over fences.
He has been spot-on in the last five attempts, striking a hat-trick right out of the first three outings of the 2012 season.
The six-year-old landed the seasonal debut, Grade 2 Betfair Super Saturday Chase on 17th February, 2012 at Newbury race course over two miles and a furlong.
The favourite entry then defeated Cue Card in the Grade 1 Racing Post Arkle Challenge Trophy Chase on 13th March, 2012 at Cheltenham race course over two miles. He got through with the race while leading by seven lengths.
The brilliant chaser was highly impressive in the Grade 1 John Smith’s Maghull Novices’ Chase on 14th April, 2012 at Aintree race course two miles.
"There is no denying that the Sportingbet Tingle Creek will be a whole new ball game for Sprinter Sacre," said Henderson.
"Not only will he be faced with a natural pacemaker in Sanctuaire, but also an extremely good horse.
"Sanctuaire poses a big challenge to Sprinter Sacre. It is going to be an extremely interesting race."
Not only is the team ready for the level of competition that the race will put forth, but also are anxious about the whole new experience that it will turn out to be for their under charge.
One of the highlight competitors in the field is the six-year-old bay/brown gelding, Sanctuaire, who has been unbeaten in his 2012 campaign.
His latest accomplishment was in the bet365.com Celebration Chase on 28th April, 2012 at Sandown.
Almost every important race in the National Hunt season comes with the excitement of collision between the Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls’ entries. The most threatening opponent for the Arkle winner, Sprinter Sacre, is the Paul Nicholls supervised, Sanctuaire.
The French gelding has created a league of his own and will make sure that it get enriched with further and better honours.
