I'm a 13 yr old male. I am a 200m sprinter and my P.B is 25.8 seconds. I want to get this down to about 24. Any ideas on how to do this? SENSIBLE ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!

  1. Use plyometric trainin. This involves alot of jumping! Also the season is coming to a close now so during the winter, hit the gym and try to increase lean muscle mass! Do alot of hill running aswel, this will improve your muscular endurance which will help you in the latter part of the 200m.

  2. Are you sure?  That is already a d**n good time, well done Sir!

Are you doing any weight-training?  You need squats to improve strength of your quadriceps, and hamstring curls on a machine to work your hamstrings.  Calf-raises, with a heay weight on your shoulders, will develop your claves, and if you can, cycle everywhere on a racing bike, not a mountain bike.  Eat meat, drink milk.
