Can changes on my sprocket sizing to make it lower make my 2007 Suzuki Drz 125L make it any faster?

  1. If you change your countershaft sprocket to a smaller one (less teeth) it will have overall lower gearing.

It will be faster off the line but have a slower top end.

    On a 125cc bike I wouldn't bother.

  2. not sure by what you mean by "faster"...do you have a lower top speed but get there quicker, or do you want a higher top speed but get there slower? if you want the first one, then make your rear smaller, if you want the second one, then make your rear bigger.
