Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that he failed to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212.
The Spurs were initially linked with Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill, but their London rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international, Tottenham Hotspur will have to look elsewhere
for more defensive options.
Redknapp said while speaking to reporters:
“I've tried to sign Cahill so many times. He is a good player and he is not expensive.”
With http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Dawson-c25288 having recently returned from Injury, the Spurs are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements. With the option of Cahill gone it seems Redknapp has turned his attentions
elsewhere.
His new target is Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314, Tottenham Hotspur could intervene and attempt to sign him
this winter.
Redknapp admitted:
“Samba is a good player, too. If Tottenham wanted him, we would have a big chance, with no disrespect to QPR.”
