Benoit Assou-Ekotto, the Tottenham Hotspur defender has revealed, he believes anything is possible for the London side after they emerged as title contenders for the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur are just three points away from catching up with second place Manchester United and six away from overcoming league leaders Manchester City. The 27-year-old left back, who has been a regular for the Spurs, was confident his side could go
on to win the title this season.

and that other sides stood a decent chance at challenging them for the title.
Assou-Ekotto said while speaking to reporters:
“Everyone had been saying that Manchester City were invincible but then they drew at West Brom which showed that no one is guaranteed a win in this division.
Our minimum target is to finish in the top four. After that, anything is possible.”
While Tottenham Hotspur have belief that they could go on to win the Premier League title, Assou-Ekotto revealed their target was to currently finish in the top four. Having lost out on the UEFA Champions League spot this season, the Spurs are desperate
to return to the European competition.
He revealed:
“You can see how much we have improved, even over the last 12 months.
Just look at the table - we are in third place and we deserve to be there.”
The Spurs left-back was certain the London side deserved to be at third place and was hopeful they could climb even further up the table. As for the availability of players, Assou-Ekotto revealed they had one of the best squads in the Premier League and
that they were capable of getting results with their winning mentality.
Assou-Ekotto continued:
“The quality of players we have in every position makes this easily the best squad I have played in and we have that winning mentality now, too.”
