This all started after my bro tried downloading p**n. The desktop backround turned blood red with a biohazard symbol and underneath said "your privacy is underattack". Then 3 security desktop items mysterious appeared that had never been there before as well as p**n desktop items that had not been there. I was able to delete the p**n desktop items but not the security desktop items. My computer became infected with spyware and viruses. So I bought Spy Sweeper. I was able to delete all of the spyware. However I keep having the same trojan virus, malware, and adware stay on my pc even after I quarentine and delete them. I even have the same Windows Security Alert pop up everytime I restart the pc which is obiviously fake. On top of that a lot of the files under the start program are gone and I can't switch users. What can or should I do? Do I need to download another anti-virus program?

  1. The list of what is considered "spyware" and "viruses" and how they are cleaned varies from program to program, you are correct that sometimes running a second cleaner program will get things missed by the first program. Try downloading and run Skybot Seek&Destory and/or Ad-Aware SE.  Both are available free at http://download.com

  2. Before  you want to download another Anti-virus Program Uninstal spy Sweeper then Download This AVG Anti-virus Then scanner you computer go to this website then Download  press here http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F...

  4. go to Bitdefender.com and scan online.

or go to www.superantispyware and use it to clean

  5. I had this once. You need to download the smitfraud removal tool  and follow the instructions.

Then scan Super Antispyware and Windows Defender in Safe mode.

the thing is, when you reboot it returns.

  6. Firstly, antivirus programs will remove these threats as they are malicious codecs.

Download the following free removal programs:

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan

    SmitFraudFix:

    RogueRemover:
