Spy ware removal either by professionals or for free?

Question

I have spy ware on my laptop and i was wondering what is the most effienct way to get rid of it. Are there any sites that actually work and will not infect my laptop more. Or should i just pay someone like $100 to be sure?

Please help me because im 16 and since i caused it i offered to pay for it myself but i dont want to cause any other problems so i need the best way.
