Spyware Problem?

I was on the net the other day and for some odd reason my wallpaper changed. The original wallpaper was a waterfall and this new wallpaper changed into a blue background and had a message in the middle of it. "Warning! Spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer." I've done that and still nothing I can change the wallpaper but as I start it up again it changed back to that. Plus, when I go to properties I can't see my wallpapers or screensavers. So, can anyone help me out here.

I tried Norton Antivirus and all it said was I got 4 viruses and when I tried to get rid of them they couldn't.

  1. “WARNING! Spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer“. When you see a message like this in your PC, or your desktop background was changed to such writing, your situation indeed like that described in the warning. There is, though, a small but crucial difference between the reality and the suggestion, namely, this warning message was produced by malware to trick you into buying the related useless and harmful product.  Do not trust the warning, but look for a solution how to remove the writing “WARNING! Spyware detected on your computer!”, and you will, accordingly, remove related malware.
