  1. go to google. click "more" then the "even more" option. here is the link : http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/

this gives you a list of free google downloads etc. in the bottom right of the page should be web accelerator as well as "pack." that pack of free software should have a basic free version of spyware doctor.

  2. First download Avast Home from http://www.avast.com

Install and set to scan when restarting PC

    Then install Spybot SD

http://www.safer-networking.net/en/index... to clean out the rest

  3. some trojans try to access myspace via keyloggers and backdoor trojans. can try finding a suitable spyware removers free here

  4. Hard to say without knowing exactly what code it was you entered. Where did you find it? I'm assuming it was something from a profile editor.

Did you download anything from the website you got the code from?

And just how do you know that your computer is in fact infected? Security software telling you so, or random suspicious pop-ups? If it's pop-ups, it may be false. Don't follow any directions given to you by them.

And no, you don't have to cancel your myspace account. Download free trials of Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Webroot Spy Sweeper, run full scans, and follow their directions for removal of whatever infected your system.

Get a firewall. Comodo and Online Armor both have decent free 'walls available.

All of this can be found on http://www.download.com .

And to be safe, delete the code you entered from your myspace profile, if you haven't already. I haven't heard of any malicious coding that would allow a profile to become a port for drive-by downloading of malware onto one's computer, but who knows? I won't say that it would be impossible.

    Hope this helps.  =)

  5. First of, please specify what code you copied..Was it a url? The only way you got trojans is by downloading something ... unlikely to be due to surfing a site ,even if it contains malware!

to get rid of it download a-squared anti-malware and run a scan. if it doesnt help download spyware terminator...

If fate dont cure, download COMBOFIX from the link underneath and run it be careful with it . Im not responsible for any stupid act!

  6. Antivirus(should only download one for each computer)

    Avira antivirus(my recommended choice)

    http://www.avira.com/en/downloads/

Personal Review: Very good detection rates. Sometimes I can find a false positive from time to time but that's not much of a problem. Also if you get the free version it has the annoying habait of giving a popup about paying for the software maybe two times a day. It is very good to avoid disrupting what you were doing so I give this a rating of 9/10

    AVG Antivirus Free Edition

    http://www.grisoft.com/

Personal Review: Easy to use. Not the best detection rates but I very good product anyhow.

    Rating 7/10

    Avast! Antivirus

    http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.ht...

Personal Review: Easy to use. It probably has better detection rates then AVG so I'll give this a 8/10

Sorry never tried Nod32 but I heard good things about it.

Now lets talk about the Anti-spyware

You can download as many as you want.

    Spybot Search and Destroy

    http://www.safer-networking.org/en/downl...

Great program! One of my favorites for detecting and removing spyware. A must have and it's freeware. There isn't even a paid version but there is a donate option. It has the option to Immunize your browsers and recovery system if you wanted to undo the removal.

    Malwarebytes Antimalware Free Edition

It's probably my favorite anti malware program. Good detection rates. Only used for scanning if you have the free version but great no the less.

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

    Malwarebytes RogueRemover Free

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover...

Detects for rogue software such has winfixer or spysheriff and deletes it. Just to let you know if you see a popup of rogue software suggesting you have "viruses" You should immedility disconnect your internet(to be on the safe side) and press ALT F4. Also please PLEASE don't click on either X,ok, or cancel because it will install anyway.

    Superantispyware

A good scanning tool whats more there to say?

    http://www.superantispyware.com/download...

It does sound like rogue software which is kinda annoying but trust me it's safe.
