Spyware virus, please help?????

Question

My computer has been infected by spyware virus when i opened a email. Will this affect my computer files. Also, along with it, it itself installed a program called "Advanced Antivirus", without my permission. I've tried to remove it from the Add or Remove programs option, but it's not even there.

What can i do to remove the spyware virus and also de program advanced antivirus.....

Also, why did the program install by it self without my consent.

Please help me...

Hello Betty, this is a form of spy-ware/mal-ware  and you can use this spyware program to get rid of it all. Hi Betty

You downloaded the virus or it added itself while you were surfing. It if it the antivirus XP 2008, it is very hard to get rid of. You can go on Malaware site.

or better still, type mbam.exe in your browser and it will take you to Malaware FREE software. It is free, works perfectly and their is no catch 22.

When you get to the Malaware page, it will say mbam.exe setup. Just click on it and it will install in minutes.
