I want my security programs to run smoothly together. I have ZoneAlarm firewall, Avast! antivirus, and Ad-Aware 2008 and thinking about adding Spywareblaster since it provides real time spyware protection.

Do you see any potential problems or conflict among those softwares ?

  1. I don't see any reason for there to be any conflicting between the softwares, and I can personally recommend Spywareblaster, its done a fantastic job for me and is a handy tool to have along with Ad-Aware

  2. I find comodo boclean better than Spywareblaster, there should be no conflict if you use Spywareblaster or comodo boclean.

  3. They should all play together nicely.

If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, you might consider adding IE-SPYAD, too. While SpywareBlaster will add about 5000 "suspect" sites in the IE Restricted Zone, IE-SPYAD will restrict about 35000 baddies.

"IE-SPYAD adds a long list of sites and domains associated with known advertisers, marketers, and crapware pushers to the Restricted sites zone of Internet Explorer. Once you merge this list of sites and domains into the Registry, the web sites for these companies will not be able to use cookies, ActiveX controls, Java applets, or scripting to compromise your privacy or your PC while you surf the Net. Nor will they be able to use your browser to push unwanted pop-ups, cookies, or auto-installing programs on your PC."
