Joachim Low’s side have been a class above from the rest in the tournament after picking up nine points from their opening games. The Germans secured their place in the quarter-finals by beating http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 and Denmark.
They faced a plucky Greek side in the last eight. Although the Mannschaft comprehensively defeated the Ethniki, but Joachim Low’s starting line up was in the papers hours before the game actually kicked off. Only the twenty three
squad players were aware of the line-up and it has been suggested that one of the players’ agent disclosed the team sheet to the press.
‘Jogi’ was obviously less than impressed as all his tactics and team selection went down the drain. We know he was trying to surprise http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884.
The Hoffenheim manager knows that somebody clearly does not want the DFB Eleven to become the 2012 European Champions, and that person is certainly damaging the German Football.
He thinks it is the players’ duty to keep the tactics and team information to themselves, because at the end of the day it is their loss if the information gets leaked.
"We all have the goal of becoming European champions. If there is somebody there spreading things like this, then he is not doing German football any favours. At the end of the day, we all suffer because of it," he is quoted as
saying in an interview.
Markus Babbel further stated that the whole country wanted http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 to do well, and the leaked team news certainly did not help the team’s cause. He reckons whoever informed the press was definitely unaware of the term ‘sport’ and
is a disgrace to football.
“The whole nation wants us to go far and it is not an advantage when the team is revealed hours before the game. Whoever is revealing this has not understood what sport is. It's definitely a shame," he added.
Joachim Low will have to be extra careful from now on because his side’s upcoming fixtures are not against weak sides. The Nationalelf will be facing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 in the semi-finals of the Euro 2012.
