I have someone that wants to sell me a roll of carpet for $7.00 a sq.yds. They said it is a 100sq.yds. It is on a roll. How do I know it is a 100 sq yds? Also how much is on a roll for the padding? They had this left over from a job.

  1. pricy for a carpet, at $7.00 a yd

go to a home depot, or menards, lowes,  price carpet,

100 sq yards would be a 10 ft by 10 ft pc,  no it wont cover 104 sq yds

  2. Carpeting almost always comes in 12 foot widths. So 100 sq. yds. is

12 foot by 25 foot piece of carpeting. The padding is also sold in 12

foot  widths, so you would need a piece of padding 25 feet long if you

use all of the carpet. Hope this helps.
