Question:

Squeaky sound in washing machine?

There is always long squeaky/shrill sound from my washing machine every time it operates. But when it spins, the sound stops. The sound happens only when the machine is in the process of washing ("scrubbing") my laundry. The belt condition is great and nothing wrong with it. What happens to this machine, and where does this sound come from? How can I fix it? Thank you!

  1. Maybe a sound from within the motor - maybe the winding mechanism xx

  2. i had a front loadig washing machine and it done that and they guy came over adn took this little piece of plastic out and it stopped. Maybe your belt is too loose?

  3. Ah but is the belt tight on the pulleys? if there is slack it will slip giving it that noise.
