I just moved into my new house, and had replaced the shower head, as the old one was not working. The flow/pressure was very low - when the diverter on the faucet was pulled, most of the water still came out of the faucet, rather than the shower. So, I replaced the faucet with a brand new one with diverter. The shower now works great, but it makes a loud squealing/whistling noise. How can I fix this? There does seem to be a small gap between the new faucet and the shower wall; could that be the problem, and if so, how can I fix it?
