Question:

Squiglly line on my eyes?

Sometimes, when i look at a plain object like the sky for example....and i keep staring....all these swirly and squiglly lines that end in little circles with smaller circles inside them.....they are trasparent and everytime i try to soncentrate on one of them it just "runs off" to the corner of my eye and dissapears....what is it? be serious with your answers please.....=] thanks

  1. They are called floaters. They are the remains af blood vessels from when your eye formed. They are harmless.


  2. Sounds like floaters - if your worried you should see an optician.

  4. Its normal don't worry its just gel passing in front of your retina and the light bouncing off it. I have the same problem and asked my eye specialist about it and he assured me its perfectly normal.

  5. That happens to me too!

    When u follow it it runs away and when u look back to where u were originally it returns and then runs away again!!

    I don't think it is serious.

  6. It's called a Floater.  Just a few dead cells drifting about in the fluid that fills your eyeball.  They can be a bit annoying, but they're harmless.
