I went to the doctors today, as i have been having lots of headaches. They are always on the right hand side of my face, next to and underneath my eye. He asked me lots of questions, checked temperature, glands blood pressure ... then asked when last had eyes tested, which was november, then checked my eyes. He told me that i have a squint and astigmatism, but this has never been said by my optician. He just told me to take paracetamol and ibuprofen and if the problem was still there in a week to come back.

what do u think, i dont no how they will just dissapear in 1 month, and why have i suddenly acquired a squint, i am 20!

what would you do in my situation, i cant cope with the headache, i cant sleep at night, it hurts too much.

Thanks

  1. I can't tell but you may have a type of sinusitis on the alveolar porion, in the diffuser, making it very difficult to diagnose and to treat you because you complain often, you see,..often of the pain. I would vail itoutyntil you can be prepared for it - a fedural and proper investments, you see. It may help you too.

And lent for the astikmatic? I would thinking of a strudy pair of eyepieces offre by you otemeyttrician should releieve the stress and pain.

  2. Assuming that you really developed a sudden squint, it can mean

    1) you had a bad knock to your head and damaged the eye muscles or

    2) that there is an abnormal growth (i.e. tumor) that is pressing on your eye muscles or nerve

Pain killers (paracetamol and ibuprofen) will only numb the pain for the headaches...

If I were you, i will consult an Optometrist. The optometrist will assess your eye muscles and nerves that control these muscles.

    Hope this helps
