Squire affinity or standard telecasters?

do any of you guys own them and like them? i am really dissappointed with the fender standard and anything more than that is a bit unreasonable for me

I know what your going through! i'm a telecaster supporter myself, If you want a good tele with the original pickups then get the squier telecaster 50's vibe, but if you want a tele with more bite then get a vintage modified  telecaster SH. Don't go for the affinity, it's a beginner guitar and actually was my first guitar. Go on www.musiciansfriend.com and go check them out!

Really you have to match up your guitar to your style. As more of a rocker, the Gibson Les Paul I have will never be matched by any strat or tele. Try an Epiphone, Jackson, or Ibanez if you're looking for a good starter. Especially if the Fender didn't make your cut.
