SquirrelMail Error opening ../data/default_pref

SquirrelMail Error opening ../data/default_pref. is anybody solved this bloody problem. I am sick and tired of this error. please help me out this error.

Does that error accompany a permission denied error, if it does you have to change the permission of /<somethingfolder>/<smethingfolder>data/ to be able to write to by apache, check httpd.conf or ps -aux or ps -ef | grep apache and see what user apache is running as and make apache the owner of the directory.

you might laso want to try open webmail or horde :)
