Squirrels in my potted plants??

Question

I have heard that sprinkling tobasco on the soil in your pots will keep squirrels out of them....is that true? Will it hurt the squirrel or plant?

I always use moth balls, it keeps the animals away, and it doesn't harm the plant or the animal, just makes them avoid the moth balls. Hope that helps you out!

I use a piece of chicken wire to keep them out.

i would put chili pepper flakes instead, but yes it works and no it doesn't hurt either
