I'm sorry but I'm losing my patience. So I grew a sunflower in honor of Earth Day on Earth Day, April 22nd, and then I went to India this summer. Apparently when I was gone, the plant grew with five flowers. My dad took pictures of the beautiful scene and he also took pictures of the squirrels taking it down. So the damage wasn't too bad and by the time I came back, the leaves were popping up again. Last week I got to see the sheer miracle in two flowers blooming again. Saying I water whenever it hadn't rained, I went out today after school and the plant was gone. Not all the was but the stem? 1/4 then what it was.
I MEAN 1/4th.
So any way to stop these squirrels? I don't want to kill them and I can't move the plant because, I mean, this IS Florida, squirrels are kind of everywhere. Is there any way to prevent this? And my plant, it's half hallow but still sturdy.... Does it have a chance?

Thank you so much! This plant is like, my proof that I can take care of things. =]
