Squishy lump by belly button!!!?

Hello Everyone!!

Well. I was messing around with my belly button & I put my finger in and rubbed it with my thumb I notice I had a squishy ball above my belly button It doesn't hurt & Its not noticeable outside. I just feel it when I put my finger in and rub it with my thumb. So I made an appt with my doctor. I felt this before for sometime (months) but never thought of getting it check til now.. Has anyone ever had this or does anyone know what this could be? I suffer from anxiety so Im freaking out right now.

Dont worry it  is  just a beninghn tumor but just get it tested

I don't know what it is, but I can tell you there were several times in my life when I found something new like that and freaked out, but they all turned out to be harmless things--I just hadn't heard of them. I had a lump on the top of my wrist once that I was positive must be cancer--but it wasn't!

So now, I do always make an appointment to get new problems checked out, but while I'm waiting for the date of the appointment, I don't worry any more; I just try to forget about it. You know how Jesus said that no one can add even a tiny bit to the length of his life by worrying, so to stop doing it? No point in making life miserable, when MOST of the time, we are worrying needlessly.

People do get fatty lumps sometimes, and if yours hasn't been growing for months, it probably isn't dangerous, but you are doing the right thing in having it checked out.
