On Monday, February 06, 2012 England Lions took the five-match One Day International (ODI) series by 3-2, after winning the final match of the tournament against Sri Lanka A by 117 runs at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
After winning the toss, England Lions elected to bat first in order to post a daunting total against the host team.

Buttler, then lost his wicket after scoring 64 runs. At the time of his demise, the side had amassed 263 runs on the board.
In the end, England bolstered 330 runs on the board with Root unbeaten on 110 runs, giving Sri Lanka a stiff target to chase in 50 overs.
